WINDS OF CHANGE RAISES OVER $14,000.00 FOR SMD FOUNDATION!
On July 21 & 22 the Winds of Change Group made up of family, friends and associates gathered to embark on another 1000 km motorcycle ride throughout Mb in support of the Society of Manitobans with Disabilities / Easter Seals Foundation. The group enjoyed beautiful weather, scenery and camaraderie over the fun filled weekend!
The event generated over $14,000.00 for the integral services that the SMD Foundation invests in. The funds will be utilised to support Adult and Children’s Leisure and Recreational programs. These programs include power wheelchair hockey and sledge hockey programs, summer residential and day camps, independence for youth experiences and social-recreation club programming.
